Omid Aladini

Omid Aladini is a software engineer with over 14 years of experience. ‎Omid is currently the Co-Founder and Director of Engineering at Ultimate (by Unstoppable Finance), a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were an Advisor for benshi.ai, a AI/health non-profit organisation, from 2020. From 2019-2020, they were an Engineer at Börse Stuttgart Digital Exchange (BSDEX) GmbH, where they designed and developed the crypto exchange from the ground up, leading the engineering work for the matching engine, auctions, API, system architecture, fund allocation protocols, settlement, and real-time market data. From 2014-2019, they were self-employed as a software engineer. From 2010-2014, they were a Software Engineer at SoundCloud, where they led data engineering and infrastructure and developed the time-series service 'Stitch' and the log aggregation pipeline 'Barn'. From 2007-2010, they were a Software Engineer at FANAP, where they developed an EFT switch handling transactions from POS and ATM machines, and implemented ISO-8583, IFX, and NDC+ protocols.

Omid Aladini received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology between 2003 and 2007. ‎Omid then went on to receive their Master of Science (MS) in Computational Science / Machine Learning from Goethe University between 2008 and 2010.
