Amit Sharma

Amit Sharma has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Amit currently works as the IT Cloud Operations Lead at UNSW College since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Solutions Architect & InfoSec Lead at Honeysuckle Health from 2021 to 2023, where they played a key role in ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes. Amit was also responsible for planning and executing the ISMS Program, resulting in ISO 27001 recertification with version upgrade and scope expansion.

Before working at Honeysuckle Health, Amit worked as an Analyst Programmer at Pepper Financial Services Group from 2016 to 2021. Amit also has experience working at Tata Consultancy Services as an ITA and System Engineer from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at GalaxE Solutions from 2011 to 2013. Amit's career began at MphasiS, where they held roles as a Delivery Trainee Software Engineer and Trainee from 2010 to 2011. Amit also had a brief training experience at Tata Indicom in 2008.

Amit Sharma completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Amit also attended Shri Agrasen Vidyalaya from 1990 to 2004 for their Higher Secondary education in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additionally, Amit has obtained several certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in 2023, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, and SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in 2022.
