Ian Gittens

Ian Gittens has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2003. Ian began their career as Senior Manager of Business Systems at Leitch Technologies International, Division of Harris Corporation in 2003. In 2004, they moved to ING Bank of Canada as Director of the Project Management Office. In 2007, they joined TechConnex as Project Delivery Peer Group Facilitator. In 2008, they were Senior Manager of the Global Project Management Office at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories. In 2010, they were Head of IT Development at Planet Energy and Vice Chair of the PMI-SOC Program Management Office Branch at PMI Southern Ontario Chapter. In 2017, they were Manager of Process, Data Assurance and Analytics Services at PwC Canada. From 2018 to 2022, they were Director, Central Consulting Group - GIAA Assets Strategy & Data Insights Leader, Director, Consulting Strategy, Analytics and M&A - OMNIA AI Factory Product Leader, and Senior Manager - OMNIA AI Factory at Deloitte. Currently, they are Senior Product Owner - Software Engineering at Untether AI.

Ian Gittens studied Business Administration and Management, General at York University and Computer Science at Seneca College. Ian has also obtained several certifications, including AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) and AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance.
