Chief Technology Officer at Untether AI

Martin Snelgrove has worked in a variety of roles since 1982. martin began their career as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, before moving on to become a Professor at Carleton University in 1992. In 1997, they joined Philsar as Chief Scientist, before becoming CTO of SOMA Networks in 1999. martin then served as CEO of Dissonance Inc. from 2004 to 2008, and CEO of Kapik Integration from 2008 to 2018. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Untether AI since 2018. At Untether AI, they are developing the industry's highest-performance neural net inference engine, based on the inherently efficient bus-free near-memory computing style and enabled by post-von software capable of preplacing data where it's needed. The architecture is inherently scalable from mobile devices all the way up to data centres.

Martin Snelgrove completed their PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toronto.
