Steve Lascos

Steve Lascos has over 20 years of experience in the engineering industry. From 2007 to 2022, they worked at Untether AI as a Principal Engineer. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Algolux as R&D Manager, Embedded Deep Learning Software. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at L3Harris Technologies as a Staff Engineer, Software Engineering, Technical Lead - Advanced Processing (AI & Machine Vision, Hardware/Software Engineering) and Technical Lead, Software Engineering. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Evertz Microsystems as a Hardware Design Engineer. From 2002 to 2007, they worked at Gennum Corporation (acquired by Semtech) as an ASIC Design Engineer. Additionally, they have been a Technical Advisor to Aviate Audio since 2020.

Steve Lascos obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Digital Signal Processing and Optics from McMaster University in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from McMaster University in 2004. In 2019, Lascos obtained a BTECH Technology Leadership certification from McMaster University, and in 2008 they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
