Bai Li

Bai Li is a highly skilled engineer with a strong background in machine learning and natural language processing. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Untether Labs, Bai is working on healthcare scheduling solutions using AI at a Y Combinator-backed startup. Previous experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Imbue, focusing on reinforcement learning and efficient experimental infrastructure, and a position as an NLP Research Engineer at SnapTravel, where Bai developed a chatbot's entity extraction system and contributed to a best paper award-winning research. Bai's earlier internships at companies such as Yelp, Yext, Minted, A Thinking Ape, and TutorJam.com provided extensive exposure to software development across various technologies. Bai holds a PhD and MS in Computational Linguistics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
