Brian Scales, CFRE

Brian Scales, CFRE, has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Brian currently holds the position of Chief Development Officer at Untold, an organization that focuses on supporting individuals beyond AIDS. Prior to their current role, Brian worked as a Partnership Advisor at Stand Together, where they facilitated connections between social entrepreneurs and resources to address societal challenges. Brian also served as the Vice President of Client Services at Mindpower Inc., a marketing agency specializing in non-profit brands and campaigns. Additionally, Brian held the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer at Murphy-Harpst Children's Centers, where they played a crucial role in the organization's development. With a strong background in education, Brian was the Chief Development Officer at The Lovett School and served on various committees, managing a team of professionals and overseeing successful fundraising initiatives. Brian also worked at Cannon School as the Assistant Head of School and Director of Advancement. Earlier in their career, Brian gained experience as a Senior Consultant at Stamats and Stein Communications.

Brian Scales, CFRE has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Elon University. Brian also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Emerson College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brian has obtained the CFRE certification from CFRE International in December 2015.
