Rachel Mitchener

Rachel Mitchener, M.S. is a Senior Actuarial Assistant at Unum since April 2023, previously serving as an Actuarial Associate at Fortitude Re from July 2022 to March 2023 and an Actuarial Analyst at Equitable from June 2019 to June 2022. Rachel's career includes extensive tutoring experience as a Private and University Math Tutor from September 2007 to May 2019, holding a CRLA Certified Tutor, Level I designation. Additional experience includes an Actuarial Internship at SCOR in 2017, where analysis of previous reinsurance deals was conducted, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Rachel earned a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance and a Post-Baccalaureate in Actuarial Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Elon University.
