Sagar Chivate

Sagar Chivate is a seasoned IT professional with over 23 years of experience in technology delivery and project management. Currently serving as Director of IT Delivery and Salesforce Delivery Manager at Unum since November 2020, Sagar manages a full stack team focused on the development of the MyUnum portal, ensuring high-quality agile deliveries. Previously, Sagar held various leadership roles at Ellucian from August 2005 to March 2020, including Senior Manager of Applications Management and Senior IT Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing development teams, overseeing budget and vendor contracts, and leading strategic technology initiatives. Sagar's early career includes roles at Dominion Computer Systems and i-flex solutions, contributing to expertise in document imaging, enterprise content management, and banking software development. Sagar holds an MBA from Virginia Tech and degrees in Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunication.
