Job Description:

As a Senior Demand Planner at unybrands, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and alignment with the company's growth objectives. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the demand planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for various product categories, taking into account historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
  • Review and analyze demand forecasts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand market dynamics and incorporate sales input into demand planning.
  • Develop inventory strategies to optimize stock levels while meeting customer demand and service level targets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management.
  • Implement demand planning best practices and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior demand planners as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in demand planning or a related role, with a focus on forecasting and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering accurate demand forecasts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and consumer goods industries is advantageous.
