Mary Tigyi

Mary Tigyi is the Director of Account Management at UOVO. Mary has over 10 years of experience in the art world, working with some of the most prestigious names in the industry.

Mary started their career at Sotheby’s Auction House, where they worked as an Export Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for arranging local and national collections and deliveries for auction house clients, as well as assisting with export services for internal departments. Mary also coordinated domestic and international packing and shipping for auction house exhibition and authentication of artworks.

In 2007, Mary moved to ARTEX Fine Art Services, where they took on the role of Storage Manager. In this role, they worked with museums, corporate collections, private collectors, and gallery clients to provide full inventory management, packing, and transportation services. Mary also arranged for artwork installation and viewing room rental, and worked with the operations and warehouse departments to provide relocation services for clients with long- or short-term storage needs. Mary was also responsible for negotiating storage contracts and managing monthly storage billing.

In their current role at UOVO, Mary is responsible for managing a team of account managers who provide storage and logistics solutions for clients in the art world. Mary has successfully grown the business by implementing new systems and processes that have streamline the company’s operations. Under their leadership, UOVO has become one of the leading providers of art storage and logistics services in the United States.

Mary Tigyi has a Master’s Degree in Photographic Studies from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Mary Tigyi reports to Aramis Gutierrez, Director, Account Management. Mary Tigyi works with Adriane Melchert - Account Manager, Jannell Calderon - Account Manager, and William Emmert - Associate Director, Account Management.
