Nishant Bakaya

Nishant Bakaya is currently serving as the Managing Partner at Up Campus Student Living and Thesis Living. Prior to their current roles, Nishant was the Chief Investment Officer at CA Ventures, LLC. Nishant has a strong background in investment management and real estate, having held positions such as Managing Director at Evercore, Principal at RE Development, and Executive Director at UBS. Nishant has a solid educational foundation with an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College. Their extensive transaction experience includes multi-billion dollar deals such as the acquisition of BRE by Essex Property Trust and the restructuring of General Growth Properties.
