Alex Poon

Alex Poon is the founder of UP2398, a early stage seed VC firm. Alex has also worked as a senior software engineer for Wise Medical Systems, a UI designer for Silicon Graphics, and a researcher for Xerox PARC.

Poon has been working in the tech industry for over 25 years. Alex started their career as a researcher for Xerox PARC in 1992. Alex then transitioned to Silicon Graphics where they worked as a UI designer for two years. In 1996, they became a senior software engineer for Wise Medical Systems. And finally, in 1997, they founded UP2398.

Alex Poon has a PhD in Medical Information Sciences from Stanford University. Alex also has a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
