Alessandro Broglia

Alessandro Broglia has been working in a variety of roles since 2015. Alessandro started their career as an Intern at AFRY, then moved to a Management Consultant role. In 2016, they co-founded Alumni Polimi Management Consulting and in 2017 they became a Business Strategist at SkyPath Technologies. In 2019, they joined Saipem as a Corporate Strategy - Competitive Positioning Leader and a Strategy and M&A - Senior Specialist. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded Up2You and serves as Co-Founder, Chief Sustainability Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Sales. Alessandro is also a Sustainability Expert at Up2You, which is a B Corp certified startup that promotes sustainable development by helping people and businesses reduce their environmental impact and achieve carbon neutrality. Additionally, Up2You is the only company in Europe authorized to manage VERRA and Gold Standard certified Carbon Credits using the blockchain, with the goal of providing increased transparency, security, and reliability.

Alessandro Broglia completed their Diploma maturità scientifica at Liceo Scientifico A. Einstein from 2005 to 2010. Alessandro then attended Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2010 to 2013, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in the same field from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the Qualifying examination to Engineers Register from the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Milano in 2017, Energy Efficiency Course from RES4MED - Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean in 2016, Giovani & Impresa from Fondazione Sodalitas in 2014, TOEIC English Test from Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 2012, and Padi Open Water diver from PADI.
