Matthew Kingsley has extensive work experience in the field of information security and IT management. Starting in 2007, they worked for AT&T - Communication Solutions as an Infrastructure Engineer/Manager, overseeing the transition and expansion of retail stores. Matthew then joined The Carlyle Group as an IT Manager/Systems Engineer, providing helpdesk management and engineering project work.
In 2011, Matthew worked as a Technology Lead/Systems Engineer at Huron Legal, where they facilitated the expansion of operations to the UK through the acquisition of legal consulting and e-discovery firms. Matthew then moved to Dimont & Associates as an IT Security Architect/Engineering Manager/Systems Engineer, contributing to the development and maintenance of their proprietary insurance claim processing application.
From 2013 to 2016, Matthew served as an IT Security & Compliance professional at Alvarez & Marsal, delivering performance improvement and cyber protection consulting services to a wide range of clients. Matthew then joined Miraca Life Sciences as an Information Security Manager, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and high standard patient care.
Matthew's next role was at OVHcloud as a Senior IT Security Manager, where they managed security operations and supported the company's cloud computing services. Matthew then joined Goodman Networks as a Director of IT Security, establishing their security operations department and implementing security technologies and best practices.
From 2020 to 2022, Matthew worked at Integrate as a Senior Director of IT & Security, managing IT strategy and security compliance within the marketing software company. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Upbound Group.
Throughout their career, Matthew has obtained several certifications, including CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CHFI, and ITIL.
Matthew Kingsley holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington. In terms of certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in January 2014. Following that, they achieved the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)2 in September 2015. In March 2016, they obtained the CHFI (Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator) certification from EC-Council and the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification from ISACA. In February 2019, Matthew Kingsley acquired the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)2. Additionally, they also hold the CompTIA Security+ :SY0-401 certification, which was obtained in March 2015.
