Sylvain CHATEAU

Sylvain Chateau has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Sylvain is currently working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Upciti since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant MLOps at Société Générale from October 2021 to May 2022, where they helped develop the AIAAS platform for AI-driven anomaly detection and forecasting.

From 2019 to 2021, Sylvain worked as an ML Engineer at Aquila Data Enabler, where they developed image processing and document analysis software. Sylvain also performed refactoring and optimization of existing solutions.

In 2021, Sylvain briefly worked as a Consultant Data Scientist - Computer Vision at Bonduelle, focusing on corn detection and quality control using image analysis techniques.

At ADP, Sylvain worked as a Consultant Data Scientist from January 2021 to June 2021. Sylvain developed models for automatic packaging of access roles and suggested group managers based on HR data and machine learning approaches.

In 2019, Sylvain was a Kaggle Competitor, working on various projects involving image classification, image segmentation, 3D image classification, and natural language processing.

Before that, Sylvain was a Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First from March 2019 to June 2019, where they collaborated with talented individuals to develop startup ideas.

Sylvain also has academic experience, including a Ph.D. in respiratory biology from Laboratoire M2P2 and teaching positions at Université de Sherbrooke and Aix-Marseille Université, where they taught fluid mechanics and mathematics for physics, respectively.

Sylvain Chateau completed their education in a chronological order. Sylvain obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics and Applications from UFR SCIENCES ANGERS in the years 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued their studies at Polytech Marseille and obtained a Diploma in Energy Mechanics from 2012 to 2015. Sylvain then continued their education at Aix-Marseille University and achieved a Master 2 Research degree in Two-Phase Flows, Energetics, and Combustion in the year 2014-2015. Continuing their education in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Sylvain earned a Thèse de doctorat from Aix-Marseille University and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the Université de Sherbrooke in the years 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Sylvain Chateau has also attained several certifications. These include "Comprendre la méthode Agile" from Actinuum in September 2019, "Le Deep Learning de A à Z" from Udemy in June 2019, "Machine Learning (Univ. de Stanford)" from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2019, and "Fundamentals of Fluid-Solid Interactions (École Polytechnique)" from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016.
