Jill Nelson

Jill Nelson is the Founder and former CEO of Ruby Receptionists, the on-demand, integrated, mobile device-controlled live receptionist and chat platform. During her tenure as CEO, Ruby grew to more than 10,000 active customers, was named an Inc Magazine “Best Place to Work,” a People Magazine “50 Companies Who Care,” and landed on the Portland Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private 100 Companies for 12 consecutive years – more than any other in Oregon’s history.

Jill sits on the Legacy Health Foundation Board, the TIE Oregon Board, the Elevate Inclusive Fund Advisory Board, and served on the board of Entrepreneurs Organization for many years, including in the role of President.

Jill holds her BS in Accounting from the University of Oregon. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, where she enjoys spending time with family, practicing her salsa moves, and taking in the beauty and bounty of the great Northwest.
