Josh Schachter has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Project Manager and Operations Analyst at Steve & Barry's, overseeing eCommerce projects and labor efficiencies in a distribution center. In 2007, they founded and served as CEO of Interactive Sports Network, an affinity-based sports social network. Josh then became a Product Manager at eHarmony.com, where they were responsible for designing and developing core product features. At the National Football League, Josh played a role in building engagement platforms for fans and won an Emmy Award for launching the fitness site NFL UP. Josh then joined Intuit as a Senior Product Manager, leading a subscription and SEO-based business. In 2014, Josh co-founded Liveguide, a B2B technology platform, and served as the Co-Founder until 2016. Josh also worked as a General Manager at Setel, managing an international team and launching Malaysia's first digital payments platform for retail fuel. From 2015 to 2020, Josh held various positions at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and BCG Digital Ventures, including Director and GM. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of UpdateAI, where they currently serve.
Josh Schachter attended Loomis Chaffee High School for their secondary education. Josh then went on to study Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree. After completing their undergraduate studies, Josh pursued further education at UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they earned their MBA degree. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in April 2018.
