Canbey Bilgili

Canbey Bilgili has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2010, they served as a Sergeant in the Turkish Armed Forces. Canbey then worked as a Software Engineer and Co-founder at Emanova Dijital from 2013 to 2015. From 2013 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Technical Officer at BEARING NEWS. In 2015, they joined ALTINCI CADDE as a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, where they developed backend codebase using Ruby on Rails, frontend using ReactJS, and mobile applications using React Native. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Co-founder and Software Engineer at AloKartvizit, focusing on marketing and web operations. In 2019, they became a Senior Software Engineer at NuVu and continued this role until 2021. Canbey worked as a Backend Engineer at The Ashley Group from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Updater starting from May 2022. Canbey co-founded BearingCLOUD in 2015, where they developed Ruby on Rails backend and React Native mobile applications for the platform.

Canbey Bilgili completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, which was completed from 2007 to 2011. Furthermore, Canbey Bilgili earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Technologies and Programming from Yildiz Technical University between 2005 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, Canbey Bilgili also obtained several certifications from Udemy, including "Optimization with Metaheuristics in Python" in November 2019, "Natural Language Processing with Deep Learning in Python" in November 2017, "Machine Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science" in September 2017, and "Unsupervised Machine Learning Hidden Markov Models in Python" in September 2017.
