Senior Backend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role

• You develop high-impact distributed services that solve major challenges in our business

• You take end-to-end ownership over what you build: design, implement, ensure quality, operate and extend

• You debug issues, perform root cause analysis and apply fixes in a timely manner

• You collaborate closely with our internal product team to ensure high-impact and direct feedback

Your profile

• You have solid experience of developing production ready API/Micro-services with Kotlin & Spring Boot

• You have 6+ years of experience in developing production ready services using microservice architecture and AWS

• You have a good understanding of REST and HTTP and interest in the API-First approach, event-driven systems and Kubernetes

• You are passionate about writing clean and modular code which is easy to maintain and scale

• You have experience in working on relational databases, especially PostgreSQL

• You have experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using terraform

• You have experience in deploying applications using CI/CD

• You enjoy working in a diverse team of dedicated and experienced software engineers

• You have experience in leading developers and projects from design through to production

• You show positive, "can-do attitude" and team spirit

• You are fluent in spoken and written English
