UX Design and Development Manager at Updox

Matt Sloan has had a varied and successful career in UX Design and Development, UI Architecture, and Software Engineering. Matt began their career in 2007 as a Freelance Designer with tracermedia, where they created over 100 Flash animations for McGrawHill's e-learning website. In 2008, Matt worked as a Marketing Coordinator for the American Red Cross, where they were Head of Design for four major campaigns. Matt also worked as a Website Designer for Chantler Properties, where they created a logo and business cards, and designed and developed their website. In 2009, Matt was a UI Designer and Front-End Developer at SMK Advertising, designing websites, creating brand identities, business cards, and other printed designs. In 2010, Matt moved to Knotice (now a part of IgnitionOne) as a Technical Web Designer, where they designed and developed numerous projects for national and global brands. In 2014, Matt joined IgnitionOne as a UX Developer, responsible for the user experience and full stack development of IgnitionOne's Data Management Platform. Finally, in 2017, Matt joined Updox as a UX Design and Development Manager, UI Architect, and Senior Software Engineer, UI.

Matt Sloan attended The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Technology and Visual Communication Design.
