Gary Stamatkin

Gary Stamatkin has extensive experience in tax, working in various roles and companies throughout their career. Gary is currently working as a Tax Director at UPG Enterprises LLC since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Tax at Empire Today from 2018 to 2023. Gary also served as the Director of Tax at Akorn Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2018 and at Florists' Transworld Delivery, Inc. from 2003 to 2007. Before that, they held positions such as Senior Director of Tax at APP Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2010 and Tax Director at FleetPride from 1999 to 2003. Gary Stamatkin began their career as a Senior Tax Manager at KPMG from 1995 to 1999. Gary then served as a Federal Tax Manager at Tribune Company from 1985 to 1995, following their role as a Senior Tax Accountant at Price Waterhouse from 1981 to 1985.

Gary Stamatkin completed their undergraduate education at Purdue University from 1975 to 1979, earning a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Purdue University Daniels School of Business. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1980, obtaining a Master of Science in Accounting.
