Somak Ghoshal

Somak Ghoshal currently serves as Vice President at upGrad Enterprise since April 2024, focusing on leadership capability building following the acquisition of Harappa. Previously, Ghoshal held the position of Vice President, Curriculum and Learning & Faculty In Residence at Harappa, where four flagship programs for the US market were created, alongside leading the Women CXO Program and BUiLD It initiative for women startup founders. Ghoshal's career also includes roles as a consultant at LiveMint, Senior Editor at The Huffington Post India, Managing Editor at HarperCollins Publishers India, and various editorial positions at Mint, Penguin Books, and ABP Group. Ghoshal holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and has degrees in English from Jadavpur University and St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
