Arsal Virani

Arsal Virani is a Fraud Investigations Analyst at Upgrade, Inc. since July 2021, specializing in thorough investigations of customer fraud claims and collaborating with various departmental teams to resolve cases efficiently. Significant achievements include resolving over 1,000 cases and recovering more than half a million dollars through fraud detection initiatives. Previous roles at Upgrade include Support Specialist and New Accounts Support Specialist III, with extensive experience in document verification, risk assessment, and training new hires. Prior to Upgrade, Arsal worked as a Mortgage Underwriter at TD and gained foundational customer service experience at Campaign Support and Alarm Guard Security Services. Arsal holds dual Bachelor of Commerce degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Toronto and George Brown College, and previously studied Computer Software Engineering at Carleton University.
