Christian Faucher

Christian Faucher has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Christian started their current role as a Principal Software Developer at Upgrade, Inc. in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Morgan Stanley from 2016 to 2021 as a Sr. Java Developer and Architect, Consultant. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Sr. Java Developer, Consultant at Intact, where they worked on a Policy Management System for home insurance using Java, SOA, JBoss, Spring, and XML. Before that, they worked at Morgan Stanley from 2013 to 2014 as a Sr. Scala Developer and Architect, focusing on financial components for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Christian has also worked at Intact Financial Corporation, AXA, AXA Canada, Ericsson Canada Inc., and Fleetmind, holding various technical and developer roles.

Christian Faucher attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 1991 to 1993, where they received a DEC/IB in Pure and Applied Sciences. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Software Engineering at Université de Montréal - Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal from 1993 to 1996.
