Kate Henderson

Kate Henderson has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Kate currently holds the position of Legal Director, Privacy at Upgrade, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Opendoor as the Associate General Counsel, Head of Privacy, where they led the enterprise-wide privacy program and managed privacy risks associated with the online real estate and financial services industries. Before that, Kate worked at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, where they held various roles, including Senior Counsel, Privacy, and Senior Counsel, Corporate Contracts & Privacy. Kate also gained experience at Wittie, Letsche & Waldo, LLP as Of Counsel, focusing on federal, state, and local regulatory compliance related to public contracts. Kate started their career as an Associate at Oldaker, Belair & Wittie, LLP. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in privacy law, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.

Kate Henderson earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from UC San Diego in 2000. Kate then attended The George Washington University Law School from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
