Caitlyn Young-Gilbert, CMRP

Caitlyn Young-Gilbert, CMRP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Lead Program Intern at UCSB Alcohol & Drug Program. In 2010, they served as a Program Assistant at UCSB Orientation Programs. Caitlyn then became a Gloria Haas Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution from September to December 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Caitlyn held various positions at Milk+Bookies, including Assistant to the Executive Director and Program Manager. Caitlyn managed nationwide programming, organized fundraising events, and collaborated with corporate and community contacts. In 2014, Caitlyn co-founded and served as the Creative Editor for The Winging It Girls' Guide, an online platform promoting female empowerment. Caitlyn won the grand prize in a nationwide contest hosted by the Ms. Foundation and SheKnows Media. From 2015 to 2016, Caitlyn worked as an Operations Coordinator at Global Philanthropy Group, advising philanthropists on various global issues. Caitlyn joined GOOD Worldwide Inc in 2016 as a Projects & Operations Associate, where they collaborated with influential companies, foundations, and nonprofits to facilitate social innovation. In 2017, Caitlyn became the Director of Operations & Events at Milk+Bookies, managing the non-profit's operations and overseeing the production of partnership events. Since 2018, Caitlyn has been with UpKeep Maintenance Management, serving as the Operations Manager and later progressing to the role of Chief of Staff & Head of Impact. Caitlyn leads community work, drives internal team culture, and spearheaded the development of The Maintenance Community platform to provide free tools and resources for essential maintenance workers.

Caitlyn Young-Gilbert, CMRP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from UCLA, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they attended the Yale School of Management for the Yale SOM Global PreMBA & Leadership Program.
