Course Assistant - Interpreting Machine Learning Models at Uplimit (Formerly CoRise)

Saipraneeth Devunuri currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since August 2020. Additionally, Saipraneeth works as a Course Assistant for CoRise, where responsibilities include aiding in course development and enhancing transparency in machine learning models. Previously, Saipraneeth completed an Applied Data Science Internship at H-E-B, focused on optimizing transportation costs through automation tools. Early experience includes research roles at Texas A&M Transportation Institute and leadership in the 12th Unmanned team, where Saipraneeth developed object-detection models and coordinated projects related to autonomous vehicles. Educational credentials include a PhD candidate in Transportation and Highway Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
