Esther Vispoel

Esther Vispoel has a range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Esther is currently working as an HR Director at UPM Raflatac. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at KONE, including HR Director and Global HR Manager, focusing on talent acquisition and supply chain. Esther also worked as an HR Business Partner and Recruitment Coordinator at KONE. Earlier in their career, Esther worked as a Business Recruiter at Mercuri Urval, where they were responsible for attracting and recruiting candidates for permanent positions. Esther also gained experience at Jetair and Volvo Cars Gent through internships, where they worked on various projects related to personal development, change management, and recruitment.

Esther Vispoel completed their Executive MBA from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they attained a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology & Human Resource Management from Ghent University from 2003 to 2008. Their high school education was completed at O.L.V Ten Doorn Eeklo from 1997 to 2003, where they pursued an Economics-Languages curriculum.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Esther Vispoel has also obtained several certifications. Esther completed the Transformational Leadership program at Yale School of Management in April 2023. In May 2019, they obtained the certification for the KONE Winning with Customers program from IMD Business School. Esther also acquired a certification in PAPI (Personality and Preference Inventory) from Cubics Limited in November 2013.
