Grzegorz Balwierz

Grzegorz Balwierz has a strong background in finance and data analysis. Grzegorz is currently serving as the Analytics Manager for Lead to Cash processes in Customer Operations in Finance at UPM - The Biofore Company, where they lead a team of data engineers and analysts. Grzegorz'sresponsibilities include assembling large and complex data sets into common data models, building analytics tools for actionable insights, and providing services for data collection and decision support. Grzegorz also analyzes results, identifies trends, and recommends actions to management to increase productivity and efficiency. Prior to their current role, Grzegorz worked as a Finance Manager at Amazon and held various roles at Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft, specializing in financial analysis and data management.

Grzegorz Balwierz completed their postgraduate education in Data Science from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in 2020. Grzegorz previously obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and Econometrics from the same university between 2000 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Grzegorz has acquired several certifications, including "Business Analytics: Decision Making Using Data" from Emeritus in 2022, and various Microsoft certifications related to PowerApps and Flow obtained in 2020.
