Ilkka Naatti

Ilkka Naatti is an experienced leader in technology and operations development with a focus on manufacturing technologies in the adhesive materials and coating industries. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Development at UPM since September 2023, Naatti oversees global manufacturing technology advancements and contributes to strategic investment planning. Previous roles at UPM include Director of Coating Technology and Director of Operations Development, where Naatti led development teams to enhance production efficiency across multiple international factories. With over two decades of experience at Valmet and Metso, roles included managing coating technology and product development for various paper and board-related projects. Naatti holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
