Pekka Pekuri

Pekka Pekuri is an experienced supply chain and operations leader, currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain and Planning for UPM Specialty Papers since June 2015. In this role, Pekka oversees Customer Service, Sales & Operations Planning, and Supply and Logistics teams on a global scale. Prior to this position, Pekka held various leadership roles within UPM, including Director of Sales & Operations Planning for UPM Paper Asia and Director of Sales Operations & Planning at UPM (China) Co., Ltd. Pekka's career at UPM began in 1997 with multiple managerial positions in Specialty Papers, alongside experience in business and operations development for the Newsprint Division at UPM-Kymmene Papier GmbH & Co. KG. With a strong educational background including an Executive MBA and a Master’s in Engineering focused on paper technology, Pekka also completed military service as a lieutenant.
