Cindy Paras, OTD, MOT, OTR/L, ECHM, currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty Capstone Mentor at Baylor University, guiding entry-level occupational therapy doctoral students in their Capstone projects. With extensive experience since March 2015 as an Occupational Therapist at UPMC HOME HEALTHCARE, Cindy plays a key role in improving employee engagement and work culture through participation in the Employee Experience Committee. Additionally, Cindy is involved in various initiatives such as writing Letters of Medical Necessity, leading the Medication Management Occupational Therapy Task Force, and contributing to quality improvement efforts within the QAPI Committee. Previous roles include Director of Occupational Therapy at Friendship Ridge SNF and various positions in home health care. Cindy holds multiple advanced degrees in Occupational Therapy, including a recent Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
