Sara Faghihi Kashani, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Informatics Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, since July 2024. Previously, Sara served as an Associate Investigator at UPMC, contributing to the ACR/EULAR grant project on the classification criteria for anti-synthetase syndrome, where leadership included managing international collaborations and data collection. Other roles include Rheumatology Fellow at Stanford University and Rheumatologist at San Mateo Rheumatology Inc. Sara has a background as an Associate Investigator at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, advocating for ICD-10-CM coding changes and contributing to research on inflammatory myopathies. Sara holds an MD and an MPH from Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
