Virgil Schlorke, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering field. Virgil began their career in 1995 with Raasch Associates as a Structural Engineer. In 1998, they moved to Larson Engineering as a Structural Engineer and then to Jacobs Engineering in 1999 as a Project Manager/Project Engineer. In 2006, they joined Wisconsin River Power Company as a Site Supervisor/Manager and then in 2010 they joined Upper Peninsula Power Company as a Director - Generation & Environmental Services and Manager Generation. In these roles they provided strategic and operational leadership, managed overall operation and maintenance activities, provided project management and engineering services, and developed strategic and technical policies and procedures.

Virgil Schlorke, P.E. earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1993, followed by a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the same university in 1995. In 2007, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Michigan, and in 2010 they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Wisconsin.
