Casandra Amores Lorenzo has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Casandra is currently the Head of People & Culture at UPPER, a managed freelancer platform. Prior to that, they worked as the People & Culture Lead at Femtasy, where they oversaw the strategy across the entire employee life cycle.

Before Femtasy, Casandra served as a Senior In-house Recruiter at Honeypot.io. Casandra also gained extensive experience in HR and recruitment as an HR Manager/Recruiter at Rover.com, where they played a key role in the acquisition and migration process when the company acquired DogBuddy.

Casandra started their career in the hospitality industry, working as a Cabin Crew member at Emirates and as a Cabin Service Agent at Ryanair. Casandra also had a traineeship at Penha Longa, a Ritz-Carlton Resort, where they gained experience in the Rooms and F&B Division.

Throughout their career, Casandra has showcased their expertise in people management, recruitment, employee effectiveness, and developing HR processes.

Casandra Amores Lorenzo has a diverse education history. Casandra obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio from the year 2007 to 2010. Later, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.C) degree in Marketing and Sustainable Destination Development at Dalarna University from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, Casandra also obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing: ROI from LinkedIn in January 2018. Casandra further expanded their knowledge in the field of Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration by completing a course in Spanish Labour Legislation, Social Security, and Labour Relationships at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 2018 to 2019.
