Brenda Courtad

Brenda Courtad's work experience begins in 1995 as a Lifeguard/WSI at the City of East Palestine Park Pool. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Co Op at Toyota USA. Following that, Brenda worked at SumiRiko (formerly DTR Industries) as a Production Engineer, where they implemented process improvements and reduced inventory and labor requirements. In 2008, they started their own business, SMC Inspections, where they managed day-to-day operations and implemented VBA automation to streamline processes. From 2010 to 2016, Brenda was a PhD Candidate at the University of Cincinnati. During their time at Colorado Mesa University from 2016 to 2019, they taught various business courses and utilized data analysis for curriculum changes. Most recently, Brenda has been an Operations Specialist at UpScriptHealth since October 2021. Brenda is also a licensed Real Estate Agent at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona Properties from 2019 to February 2023.

Brenda Courtad completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University, spanning from 1997 to 2002. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Findlay, graduating between 2006 and 2008. Brenda's education continued with a focus on Operations Management and Business Analytics, undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at the University of Cincinnati Carl H.
