Yumiko Hayashi

Yumiko Hayashi is an accomplished marketing and growth strategy professional with extensive experience in leading product marketing and growth initiatives across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Growth Strategy & GTM at Upshop since August 2024, Yumiko previously held the role of Director of Product Marketing at Invafresh, where foundational marketing strategies were developed. Prior experience includes being the Director of Marketing at irlabs, where innovative investor relations strategies were implemented, and serving as the Director of Marketing at FreshPoint, where coordination of marketing efforts across North America was achieved. Earlier roles include positions at Arc'teryx Equipment Inc. and FreshPoint, as well as experience as an Assistant Language Teacher with the JET program. Yumiko holds a B.Mus in Piano Performance and a Diploma of Education in New Media Design and Web Development from University of British Columbia and British Columbia Institute of Technology, respectively.
