Smit Mirani

Smit Mirani has a wide range of work experience. Smit started their career in 2014 as a Web Development Intern at Inventif Web. In 2015, they worked as a Database Management Intern at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. In 2016, they joined Accenture as an Application Development Associate, where they were responsible for Meter Data Management System and Smart Metering Analyst. Smit was also responsible for automation and configuration of Siemens' eMeter. In the same year, they were promoted to Application Development Analyst, where they worked on customer's production environment and ensured optimum system and database health. In 2018, they were promoted to Application Development Senior Analyst, where they led the analysis and rectification of terabytes of data leading to optimization of system performance by 50%. Smit also worked closely with external parties like SIEMENS and OMNETRIC for custom code implementation, fine picking bugs and proactively suggesting enhancements in vendor's product. In 2022, they joined KrakenFlex (part of the Octopus Energy Group) as a Solutions Engineer.

Smit Mirani obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 2012 and 2016. In 2019, they obtained a Neuro linguistic programming certification from ENCORE CONCEPTS & SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. Smit is currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Data Science at the University of Glasgow, which they began in 2021.
