Sorooban Selvaratnam

Sorooban Selvaratnam has worked in various finance roles since 2011. Starting at Autoscript Ltd (Vitec Group) as a Finance Manager, they were responsible for managing multiple business units, including a subsidiary in New York, and ensuring compliance with group policy. In 2012, they moved to AMV Group as a Senior Management Accountant, where they worked closely with the CFO's of two of the 7 entities to meet all of the management and Financial reporting requirements. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Commercial Controller at Fishburn Communications and a Head of Finance and Operations at both Airport Media OOH and DigiCom Out of Home. In 2016, they became the Financial Controller at Octopus Energy. Since 2020, they have held the roles of Finance Director and Strategic Finance at Kraken Technologies, KrakenFlex (Octopus Energy Group), Octopus Electric Vehicles, and Octopus Energy Services.

Sorooban Selvaratnam attended Sutton Grammar School For Boys before obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from King's College London in 2002. Sorooban also holds a certification from ACCA.
