Uma Valeti is the CEO and founder of UPSIDE Foods. Uma has also served as an adjunct professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and as president of the Twin Cities Board of Directors of the American Heart Association.

Valeti received their medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed their residency in cardiology at Mayo Clinic. Uma then went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular imaging at St. Paul Heart Clinic.

Uma has been a board member of the Society of Cardiovascular CT and the American College of Cardiology, and has served as president of the Board of Governors for the latter.

Uma Valeti received a MBBS from JIPMER in 1995 and continued their education at Wayne State University School of Medicine from 1996-1998. Uma then transferred to State University of New York College at Buffalo from 1998-2000 before finishing their schooling at Mayo School of Health Sciences from 2001-2005.
