Ofer Wellisch

Ofer Wellisch is an advisor at Upside Health. Ofer has previously worked as an assistant director of pain medicine, addiction medicine, and palliative care at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, a faculty advisor at Doximity, an attending physician and clinical instructor of anesthesiology at Stanford University, and an anesthesiology resident at Maimonides Medical Center. Ofer has also done postdoctoral research at NYU School of Medicine and was the general manager and co-founder of Tysam Networks Israel.

Ofer Wellisch received their B.S from Union College in Biology. Ofer then attended Tel Aviv University for their M.D in Medicine. Afterwards, they went to The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences for their M.P.H in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Ofer is certified from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) in Addiction Medicine, as well as the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.
