Francisco Javier Carrera Arias

Francisco Javier Carrera Arias has worked in a variety of roles in the data science field. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant and Writing Fellow at Nova Southeastern University. In 2016, they worked as a Hockey Analytics Intern at the Florida Panthers. In 2017, they began working at MotionPoint as a Data Scientist and Data Science Consultant. In 2018, they worked as a Data Analyst I at the INIM Clinical Systems Biology Lab. In 2021, they began working at Glovo as a Product Data Analyst II. In 2022, they began working at Voodoo as a Game Data Scientist and at Upside as a Data Science Consultant. Currently, they are a Predoctoral Researcher at BCBL.

In 2019, they obtained a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Francisco Javier is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD program in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging at the same university. Francisco Javier also has certifications in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity, including a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree, a Deep Learning Nanodegree, and an Introduction to Machine Learning with Tensorflow.
