Olivier Roussel

Olivier Roussel has extensive experience in software engineering, primarily in the financial sector. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Senior Software Developer at UpSlide since May 2019, Olivier previously held the role of Expert Software Engineer at Finastra from June 2013 to May 2019, focusing on maintenance and development of financial software including Fusion Invest and Fusion Sophis. Before that, Olivier worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sophis for six years, contributing to Sophis Risque and Sophis Value. Earlier career experiences include software development at Thales, where Olivier worked on tank simulators, and a role in military R&D at Cybernetix. An early internship at Safran Identity & Security involved designing a graphical interface for a fingerprint recognition system. Olivier holds an Engineer's degree from Centrale Lille, completed in 1998.
