Edward Walters

Edward Walters is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and technology within the financial services sector. Currently serving as VP of Account Management at Upstart since 2019, Edward focuses on enhancing access to affordable credit while managing risk and costs for partners. Previously, Edward held various senior leadership roles at KeyBank from 1997 to 2019, including SVP and Sr. Manager in Consumer Lending Product Management, where oversight of a $1.4 billion consumer lending portfolio was a key responsibility. Edward also established and led a Project Management Office for Community Bank initiatives, directed enterprise-wide business continuity programs, and managed technology divisions with large teams and multimillion-dollar budgets. Early career experience includes consulting at Right Team, Inc. and Ernst & Young, coupled with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Ohio University.
