John Barron

John Barron has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Control Room Operator for Petrofac on the FPSO Northern Endeavour Decommissioning Phase since September 2022. Concurrently, John Barron works as a Production Support Specialist for Upstream Production Solutions, focusing on the Shell Prelude FLNG. Prior to these roles, John Barron had a significant tenure at Oil Search Limited from March 2011 to July 2020, where responsibilities included Production Superintendent and Production Interface Coordinator for the PNG LNG Interface Team. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Operations at Sakhalin Energy Investment Company and as Asset Start Up Coordinator for Orion Group, contributing to major projects in challenging offshore environments.
