Tarek ElNazer

Tarek ElNazer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tarek started their career as a Senior Oracle Instructor at Allied Consultants, where they taught professional courses and successfully guided students towards certification and project completion. Tarek then worked as an Analyst Programmer at Business Systems House, developing HR applications and enhancing existing systems using Oracle forms and database. At GHQ - UAE Government, Tarek filled multiple positions, contributing to business success by aligning technical skills with business objectives. Tarek joined C4 Advanced Solutions as a Project Manager, managing projects using various methodologies and handling multiple high-budget projects in a secure and compliant environment. Tarek also worked at YMCA of Greater Toronto as a Data Migration Analyst, handling data migration and creating data warehousing infrastructure. Currently, they are employed at Upstream Works Software as a Senior Technical Project Manager, where they deliver flexible and strategic contact center solutions.

Tarek ElNazer has a diverse education history. In 1982, they began their educational journey at Collège De La Salle, where they studied mathematics until 1995. Tarek then enrolled in Ain Shams University from 1995 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with a specialization in Control and Information Systems. In 2018, Tarek attended Ryerson University, focused on Business/Corporate Communications, though the degree name is not mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Tarek has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2001, they earned the OCM (Oracle Developer) and OCM (Oracle DBA) certifications from Oracle. In 2002, they obtained the OCP (Oracle Developer) certification, also from Oracle. Tarek further expanded their expertise by acquiring the SCJP (java programmer) certification from Sun Microsystems in 2004. In 2006, they obtained the SCWCD (web dev.) certification from the same institution. Tarek then pursued the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in 2007.

Continuing their professional development, Tarek obtained the ITIL certification from the Office of Government Commerce in 2010. In 2013, they earned the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group. More recently, Tarek acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018. Lastly, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
