CEO, Founder at Upsy Company

Juha Sulkakoski has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Juha is currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Upsy Company since October 2021. Prior to this, they founded and served as a member of the board at Upseller Finland Oy, a Saas company focused on boosting ecommerce sales, since August 2014. Juha also founded LEDX Finland, an online webshop for LED headlamps, from August 2014 to May 2016.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Juha Sulkakoski founded Sulkakoski Juha Oy in 2013, where they worked as the CEO and Founder providing strategic marketing planning, branding, consulting, and leasing services. Juha also founded Aitokauppa in 2011, an ethical food company aimed at providing clean and ethically produced food to consumers.

In 2009, Juha Sulkakoski co-founded Soundslike, Finland's first audio branding company, where they served as the CEO. Additionally, they worked on a leave of absence from 2008 to 2009 after an exit from a previous company, and during this time, they enjoyed travelling, spending time with family, and pursuing personal interests.

Juha Sulkakoski also worked as the Head of Unit at Avalon in 2008 and as the CEO and Founder of Markkinointiviestintä Procut from 1998 to 2008. At Markkinointiviestintä Procut, they focused on strategic marketing and communications, working with notable clients such as Harvia, Neste Oil, and Finnair. Prior to this, they founded Procut Marketing & Production Oy Ltd in 1995, where they presented snowboarding to large audiences in Finland and organized events featuring snowboarding, music, fashion, and parties.

Juha Sulkakoski pursued their education in business administration and marketing. From 1992 to 1997, they attended Jyväskylä Polytechnic, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on marketing and economics. Following this, they continued their studies at Jyväskylä University from 1993 to 1998, earning another BBA degree, this time specializing in business administration and marketing.
