Shashank S. Iyer

Shashank S. Iyer is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and delivering complex products across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Uptake since July 2016, Shashank oversees a 40+ member team focused on data integration, data science, and application development for the Transportation, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors. Previous roles at Uptake include Technical Product Manager and Senior Technical Business Analyst, where Shashank contributed to product design, development, and customer interfacing for various sectors. Prior to Uptake, Shashank held positions at Urban Till LLC, KDnuggets, The Coca-Cola Company, and International Maritime & Aviation LLC, showcasing a diverse skill set in research and development, data analysis, and operational excellence. Shashank holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lancaster University and Manipal Institute of Technology.
