Julian Wayte

Julian Wayte is an experienced Solutions Engineering Manager and Director of Solution Engineering at Uptycs, where responsibilities include driving pre-sales engagements and overseeing solution engineering initiatives since February 2019. Prior to Uptycs, Julian served as a Data Archive, Privacy, and Security Software Expert at IBM Solutions Delivery from January 2005 to January 2019, providing technical consulting for various IBM Information Management software. Early career experiences include roles as an Implementation Consultant at Systems Research and Development Inc and a Technical Consultant for the Epiphany CRM software suite, working with high-profile clients such as Nissan, Disney, and GE. Julian holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Western Australia, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
